Mel & Mar is a curated goods and experiences brand inspired by beauty, creativity and thoughtful details.
From hands-on workshops and floral experiences to curated gifts with Baltic amber and private events, we create experiences and pieces designed to make everyday moments — and special occasions — feel a little more beautiful.
THE STORY BEHIND MEL & MAR
The name Mel & Mar reflects the feeling behind the brand.
Mel means honey — representing warmth, sweetness and golden tones.
Mar means sea — representing calm, serenity and the natural beauty of the coast.
And between honey and sea, we found something that beautifully connects the two: Amber.
Golden like honey and deeply connected to the Baltic Sea, amber became one of the signature details of Mel & Mar.
Our work brings it together with florals, ceramics, embroidery, botanicals and other creative mediums, allowing traditional materials and natural elements to take on fresh, unexpected forms.

WHY BALTIC AMBER?
Ancient. Natural. One of a kind.
Formed from ancient tree resin over millions of years, genuine Baltic amber is known for its warmth, lightness and natural individuality. Its colors, textures and inclusions mean that no two pieces are exactly alike.
Treasured for centuries, amber has also been traditionally associated with warmth, protection and well-being.
At Mel & Mar, amber goes beyond traditional jewelry. We incorporate genuine Baltic amber into selected jewelry, curated gifts and creative experiences, pairing its timeless character with contemporary design and craftsmanship.
